Reduce your lab carbon footprint
...by playing a game
Challenge yourself to improve week after week!
Dare your colleagues to play by making it a weekly contest in the lab!
If you want to reduce your plastic consumption in your everyday lab life, but you don’t know where to start, this game is for you!
For one week, when you plan your experiments, have a look at these cards depicting the most commonly used lab items. On each card you will find some tips that will help you save material.
Cards are divided in three groups to help you quickly identifying the cost of the item you are using:
•Green, the least environmentally expensive items;
•Yellow, the moderately polluting items;
•Red, the highest polluting items.
Every time you don’t use an item, add the points indicated on the card to your weekly score.
At the end of the week check out you score.
Each point corresponds roughly to 1 km drive by car (according to EU’s 2015 standards).
